The studio is incredibly comfortable and we do our best to take care of our clients every need. Our goal is to provide you with an exceptional experience. We work with artists at all levels and we always bring our best work. We love what we do and we hope you do too.
The control room has a great vibe and it is a great room for mixing and mastering. The main room is large enough to accommodate bands of almost any size. With our iso booths and sound walls we can easily isolate instruments while still being able to give the musicians a live feel while they are tracking.
The vocal booth is right next to the control room. We have the sound carefully balanced in this area which makes for incredible vocal tracks. Our selection of vocals microphones just adds to the already great sound.
The piano room is big and open. The combination of the piano and the room is really special. We have had great success in recording some fabulous jazz and classical sessions.
One thing you will find is that we are constantly on the hunt for anything that will improve our sound. We are constantly investing in new gear and instruments

He went on to study other instruments including, bass, guitar, drums, trumpet, vocals, and keyboards. Over the years, he developed a unique mix of musical skills covering everything from jazz to metal to orchestral music; there’s not much that he hasn’t delved into at one time or another.
David Prescott has worked extensively with Jay Gordan from Orgy and Linkin Park Producer; AC Alexander from Lizzy Borden; Perry McCarty from Warrior; and Steve Stevens and the Atomic Playboys. He also auditioned for Ozzy Osbourne, and was offered an audition with Metallica.
On the jazz side of things, he has shared the stage with such notables as Freddie Hubbard, Peter Welker, Wayne Bergeron, Eric Marienthal, Whit Williams, Virginia Mayhew, Bill Tole to name a few.
Leah wears a few different hats at Prescott Studios. Starting as our resident woodwind specialist Leah has played on numerous recordings playing a wide variety of woodwinds including alto and tenor saxophone, flute, and clarinet. Leah is also invaluable as a camera operator. Whenever we are called on for a multi camera shoot we do our best to bring Leah in to the session.
Leah is a full time student at UMBC where she is working on her dual major of jazz performance and music education.
Prescott Studios was built into a beautiful home in Columbia Maryland. The entire studio area remodel took about one year to construct and is around, 2,000-square-feet. The studio has some of the finest, hand-picked preamplifiers, eq's, compressors, limiters and effects. The studio is the perfect blend of vintage high end gear mixed with a fully automated ProTools studio. It's the best of both worlds.
